Pups placed in guardian homes are hand-selected by us (and are 50% off regular purchase price) and will remain co-owned with us until they retire (typically age 5-6 for females, 6-7 for males). They will live with their guardian families unless being bred/whelping when they will return to our home for things to take place. Guardian homes will receive compensation for their assistance of keeping our lines going.
*All general health care for pups will be paid for by their guardian family. This includes yearly wellness exams and vaccines.
*Breeding health requirements will be paid by Wild Roost Goldens (OFA requirements per breed as well as DNA through Wisdom Panel). All expenses related to breeding care will be covered by us as well.
Pending all health screens pass:
Females will be bred when of age (over 2 years old). The guardian family will have to maintain her in good health throughout her pregnancy and be within an hours distance from Suffield Veterinary Clinic in CT incase of an emergency arises.
Females will be brought to our house 1 week prior to whelping, and will remain at our house until pups are weaned. Families are allowed to visit her while she is here.
Males will be offered as studs to approved, health tested females. Guardian homes will need to be accepting to the idea of keeping him intact and allowing approved females to their property (with myself also being present) with short notice at times.
